REDAMP in the Vysočina Region: Straight from Our Screens to the Rocks
Publish date |At REDAMP, we protect the digital world every single day, but every now and then, it’s essential to shut down our monitors, put on our outdoor gear, and head out into nature to strengthen our team. For one weekend, the picturesque village of Vír in the Vysočina region became our sanctuary.

We kicked off the trip exactly the way a proper outdoor getaway should start—around a campfire with a guitar, singing, and conversations that, for once, weren't about code or cyber threats. The early birds among us caught a breath of fresh morning air with a hike to a local observation tower, but the real adrenaline rush was still ahead of us.
The highlight of the program was the local ferrata. We traded our keyboards for harnesses and carabiners and hit the rock face. The ferrata proved to be a perfect parallel to our daily work: it required absolute focus, a cool head. Everyone pushed their personal limits, and the shared feeling of triumph at the top was worth every bit of effort.
The well-deserved finale to a demanding day was another campfire, paired with a series of team games. This was where our analytical minds were put to the test as we cracked clues and riddles leading to a major reveal. The final outcome of the game caught us completely by surprise, brought a lot of laughs, and proved that as a team, we can solve any mystery—even far outside the world of IT.
We returned from Vysočina tired, but as a much stronger and more connected team. Because the best defense of the digital world is built by people who trust each other completely, even on a cliffside.
